Mahendra Singh Dhoni to retire from Test Cricket

The only Indian Cricket Captain to hold all the 3 formats of Cricket World Cups. The Test Cricket, the One day and the T20. Under his captaincy, India became the No. 1 Team in Test Cricket and also in one day series.

The news comes as a shock to many though the signs of him might step down from captaincy was quite visible even on the day 4 of the Boxing Day Test played between India and Australia in Melbourne.

He is also the captain of Chennai Super Kings Team and is regarded as Chennai's own man by all the cricket fans of Tamilnadu.

His record as a captain, as a wicket keeper as a batsman cannot by matched by any other player. Still game is a game and age is creeping in.

No one knows what made him decide to say that he retires from Test Cricket with immediate effect, but one thing is for sure, Indian Test Cricket is sure to miss a captain at par and a good batsman too.
