#Word of the day Luxury
We all tend to give quite a luxurious life for our kids. We
tend to get them all they want for even before they want it. We never think
whether it is a need or necessary. All that we have in our mind is that my kid should
not be deprived of anything. But in the course of time, we fail to make them
understand that there are things that are for need and necessary and there are
things that are luxury.
The need of the hour is to make the kids understand and
realize that there are lot of people who are deprived of even basic needs. At
this juncture I have to insist that I am not telling you to deprive the kids of
their basic needs and wants, it is enough if the kid have 2 or 3 pencils and
pens max it is not definitely necessary for the kid to have different kinds of
pencil boxes (which contains almost 10 pencils).
But at the same time, in the course of teaching the kids
about luxury and necessity we should not disappoint them or upset them by
acting miserly. Treating them and indulging them to luxury once in a while will
satisfy their inner needs and help them understand the difference.
