Whenever we went out to shop in Adayar area, we have to go to the Udipi Woodlands near the Muthulakshmi Reddy Park Signal. Though all our shopping were in and around Adayar bus stand, we have to go there. But now Sangeetha Adayar is a boon to all shoppers and all those living in and around Adayar, especially the Gandhi Nagar area.
The outer decor is excellent and as you have valet parking, you can just leave the keys with the security and walk into the restaurant. Make sure that you go well before the peak time starts to get yourself a seat. This place is always crowded. While giving the keys to the security, make sure you dont leave anything valuable inside the car.
The ambience inside is very good. The waiting room is very small and can accomodate only 5 to 6 people. But the food in Sangeetha is definitely upto your expectation and upto the mark. The service is good and the price will not burn your pockets.
I love the Kuzhi paniyarams of Sangeetha and the Thali includes a large bowl of rice and two vegetable varities, a cup of dhal, pickle, salad and papad apart from sambar, rasam and curd. The rice they give initially itself is well enough for a person. Food was hot and less oily and less spicy too.
If you are going for snack time try out the Chettinad dishes which are very tastier in Sangeetha Adayar.
