Cow is always worshiped as a divine being. The front and back of the cow are regarded as place of residence of Mahalakshmi. Before performing any big Homam or Pooja. Before performing a Grihapravesam, a GoPooja is performed. It is always good to chant Gomatha Stuti every day to get all good things in life

Padmamsaya namo nama, 
Nama Krishna priyayai  cha

Kalpa vruksha swaroopayai , 
Sarvesham sathatham pare, 
Ksheeradayai , dhanadayai, 
           Budhidayai namo nama.            3 


Shubhayai subhadarayai 
gopradhayai namo nama 
Yasodhayai kerthidhayai , 
          Dharmadhayai namo nama.       4
