Narasimha Prappati a great sloka on Lakshmi Narasimha. He becomes our father, mother, brother, sister, Lord, saviour every thing. We do total surrender to him and so we will not make mistakes while chanting this sloka with complete devotion.
Narasimha Pooja and Prayer calls for purity and hygiene. But, this sloka can be chanted while travelling, while in a class room or while in a meeting room. This is one sloka that doesnot restrict one to chant only from the Pooja room. On chanting this sloka Lakshmi Narasimhar is always be us.
This sloka can be chanted by both men and women, but women need to restrict chanting it till 5 days after periods or till the body becomes clean. It is always better to worship Lakshmi Narasimhar while worshipping at home. Lakshmi Narasimhar is the form of Lord Narasimha with Mahalakshmi in his lap. The next form of worship that can be done at home is Yoga Narasimhar form. Worshipping this form confers mental balance and supress unwanted desires. Praying to Yoga Narasimha increases ones spiritual personality.
The third form of Ugra Narasimha is normally not worshipped at home and best done in temples.
