Blogger Jam event conducted by Preethi Appliances in collaboration with Avian media was a definite eye opener not just about the new launch of Preethi product - Wet Grinder but it also gave an insight about the various blogging techniques and also about food styling. The event gave an opportunity to mingle with lots of new bloggers and reunite with a lot of long time bloggers. 

The event was named - Blog Jam and it gave an opportunity for bloggers to learn more about the South Indian rather the Chennai based brand - Preethi Home Appliances.The brand have a strong foothold in every south Indian household and the woman in thier mid 30s and 40s definitely guarantee for this brand. Oh yes ofcourse I too can vouch for this brand as a user for almost 20 years. Preethi as a brand have given tough competition to the most international brands when it comes to home appliances. And many people, not just woman have a very strong emotional attachment with the brand and its range of products. It have gone to the extent of gifting to their daughters and even daughter - in - laws during marriage. Thus the brand is playing a very strong role in every house hold of south India. 

Even though the product was able to get a very strong foothold in South India it could not gain much of market place in North India and that is when the merger of the brands Preethi and Philips happened, but still the merger was not publicised (it happenned in 2011) as both the brands had and still have their own space in the market and which was not disrupted even after the merger. 

The Target Audience - was and is woman primarily especially woman who toil in the kitchen and to ease out their work different appliances were introduced which made the work of the woman quite easy. Appliances like coffee maker and mixer grinder with juicer and blender options were a boon to many woman during the early morning kitchen time. The ad slogan - Preethi ku naan guarentee (I guarantee the brand Preethi) is not just ad slogan but also mouthed by those woman who used the different Preethi appliances. 

The latest addition to the list of the home appliances range is the Preethi Iconic wet grinder. And as a regular user of Preethi I am sure that product too will be a great hit like the other product ranges as they have made is at par to the latest market trend - Table Top grinders.
