Kids and adults love to have a cup of ice creams now and
then forgetting the calorie it could add on to their diet. Adults became kids
themselves when they are offered to choose a variety of flavours and combos
which are normally not available much in many brands in the market. Thus when I
happened to take my family and friends to Cold Stone Creamery all were excited
to try out the new flavours and combos they had to offer.
When they pulled out the ice cream yes not scooped out as it
is kept in -23 degrees and they have hardened up, it was a delightful sight for
the kids to see how it is done. The pulled out cream is placed on a frozen
granite slab which retains it chillness at -9 degree and knead it will along
with the toppings that is chosen from. You have 3 different cup options to
choose from and a customer can taste the ice creams n number of times before
choosing the right blend they want to indulge in.
Apart from this Cold Stone Creamery also offers signature
creations which are tried and tested versions all over the world. And my
personal choice is Caramel Banana Crunch. Kids loved the French Vanilla with
toppings and Chocolate with Choco shavings and kit Kat. The cheese cake ice
cream is another new choice of ice cream that was tried for the first time and
it tasted different and was slightly sour though it was rated good.
Unfortunately except on the date of opening the outlet did not have stock of
either the plain or the Choco based waffles which is the main attraction for
the kids.
Smoothies were also tried by a few people and it was not
liked much as there was no milk as it should be and it was a bit like slush
too. Though the quality and quantity is good enough, without milk many are sure
not to like it.
Though we got an opportunity to taste the ice cream cakes only during the outlet opening, I have to say that I still recall the softness of the cake and smoothness of the ice cream that just melted in our mouth was something new though we have tasted ice cream cakes of other brands.
Though I have to say that the ambience and location of the
outlet is good, still there could be more visibility. Over all its altogether a real new Ice Cream eating experience at Cold Stone Creamery
